“A few years ago when I was visiting Art Stage Singapore, there was an installation of five bowls, placed from small to large. The small bowl was filled with black moors, so close together they couldn't swim without touching another. As the bowls became larger, the quantity of fish became less. When you arrived at the end of the installation there was just one, lone black moor in the largest bowl. In the time of Covid-19, our concept of togetherness has completely changed. Which is the lucky fish now...?”
